Cheat Sheets are a good way of providing a quick reference (usually a single sheet) for anything, be it programming or development related, keyboard shortcuts for an application or even just a list of recipes or quick how to’s.
Cheatography is a site with several cheat sheets available for viewing online or downloading in PDF format. If you sign up, you can even create your own. The site was created by Dave Child, the developer of the website AddedBytes (formerly I Love Jack Daniels).
I am currently working on one for the Git Distributed Version Control System. Update: Git Cheat Sheet now available.
Other useful cheat sheet sites include:
- devcheatsheet.com (lots here, for many different programming languages)
- Cheat-Sheets.org (links to many different cheat sheets and references, not hosted at site)
